🧠Hi, OGCommunity! It's time for today's hottest news:
A lot of people have already heard about Neuralink from Ilon Musk, and even seen these videos of a paralyzed guy playing games with his mind. But few people know that Valve's slimmed-down CEO is doing something similar.
The company Starfish, co-founded by Gabe, is developing neural interfaces, which they see as the future of the gaming industry. The idea is simple - flesh is weak, senses are imperfect, and implants will allow to expand the range of sensations. However, the company is aware of the risks and consequences, such as addiction and especially the risk of the devices being hacked -- so release is out of the question until maximum protection is ensured.
